The flag of Wallonia represents the French cultural community of Wallonia and the Walloon region!

It consists of a flag with a yellow background with a stylized image of a red rooster with a closed beak and raised dough in the centre. The image of the rooster, long associated with Gaul, is a symbol that is associated with France. The Gallic rooster is also the national emblem of France.

This ancient symbol appeared on the crest of the Village of Mimelette, a village located in the province of Belgium Brabant-Wallon in the Walloon region.
